Staci Louise Originals ~ I create one of a kind jewelry, beads and components using a variety of materials. I guess it would fall under mixed media, but I just like to think they are eclectic. Below you can read about some of the types of jewelry and beads I make, and view samples in the galleries for each type.
Bead and Jewelry Components
I make a variety of beads and components in everything from polymer clay, to bronze and copper, and even some silver. I am constantly pushing my limits and trying new things. I think you find my beads have a rustic, whimsical feel with hints of folk art thrown in. To check out my bead and component gallery, click here.
Sea Glass Jewelry
I use only genuine sea glass found on shores all around the world in my jewelry designs. What once was discarded trash, the sea has transformed into wonderful and unique jewels. In the 4 years I have been using sea glass in my designs, I am already experiencing the diminishing supply of this rare and beautiful gem. Since we do not dump trash on our shores and into the sea, these gems are becoming more and more rare. It is a pure joy to work with sea glass, and the designs seem to create themselves, using my hands. I love trying to capture the feel of the sea in my designs, to accent this rare and special thing we call sea glass.

Precious Metal Clay Jewelry
PMC or Precious Metal Clay, is a wonderful new material in the jewelry making scene. It is made up of fine silver particles, suspended in an organic binder. This allows you to work it like clay. It is then fired in a kiln, which burns away the organic binder, leaving you with a piece of jewelry that is .999 Fine Silver. The metal clay is much more flexible to work with, allowing the use of stamps and molds, making it a bit easier to achieve an organic and natural look to your jewelry. The designs I create combine nature and man, and embody contrast to create beauty. I use found objects, like shells and drift wood to make textures and create my own molds from them. Many of them are from the beach that I love, LBI NJ.

Swirls and Wire Work Collection
This collection is made from sterling silver wire, gemstones, artisan beads and sea glass. The design was created to merely showcase the beauty of the materials, and frame them in silver. Swirls carry your eye through the piece and create flow and visual movement. I created my linear sea glass swirls necklace to mimic the tideline on the shore, leaving behind all its natural beauty in a wavy line.....representing where the land meets the sea.
